Nice to Meet You!

Hi, I’m Kari Anne Davis—artist, illustrator, educator, and lifelong creator based in sunny Southern California. Made by Kari is a space where all my creative passions come to life—from personal watercolor pieces and bold acrylics to custom illustrations and mixed media magic.

Art has been part of my world ever since I could hold a crayon. With a degree in children’s education and years spent in the classroom, I now channel that same sense of wonder and storytelling into everything I create. I teach art classes for kids, illustrate children’s books, and design thoughtful, joyful pieces meant to spark imagination at any age.

Beyond the canvas, I also work in HR in the corporate world, where I specialize in training and instructional design—bringing creativity into learning through graphics and visual storytelling. I’m also the founder of The Local Pigeon, my Etsy shop where I sell handmade cards, art prints, and more.
